A reputable company seeks the services of a results and goal-oriented individual to join our team as an Internal Audit Manager

Location: Accra

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

  • Manage and control the activities  of the Audit Department
  • Ensure that the company’s internal controls and systems are duly complied with.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop internal controls and processes for the company and ensure compliance
  • Supervise activities of the Internal Audit team
  • Develop an audit plan for each of the company’s branches
  • Prepare monthly audit report for decision making by the company
  • Plan and coordinate stocks taking for each of the branches of the company
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

A first degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience in a pharmaceutical company is a plus

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Good Communication Skills and Interpersonal skills
  • Must be innovative and Proactive
  • Must be a Team Player
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of team members
  • Excellent Computer Skills (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Knowledge in any accounting software
